هدف از این جلد بررسی گفتمان دانشگاهی (AD) از دیدگاه های بین زبانی و متقابل فرهنگی است. صفت متقابل فرهنگی در عنوان جلد فقط محدود به زمینه های ملی نیست بلکه شامل یک دیدگاه بین رشته ای نیز می شود. دوازده زمینه علمی در مقالات مورد بررسی قرار می گیرند. یکی از جنبه های منحصر به فرد جلد ، گنجاندن انواع زبانهای خارجی (انگلیسی <کلاس کلاس = 'ShowmorrelessConteLement' Style = 'Display: None ؛'> (به عنوان یک زبان Lingua Franca) ، اسپانیایی ، فرانسوی ، سوئدی ، روسی ، آلمانی ، ایتالیایی و نوروژی) است. علاوه بر این ، در چندین مقاله که با AD خوراکی سروکار دارند ، مقایسه ها و موازی ها نیز ESTA هستند.

Abstract: The goal of this volume is to examine academic discourse (AD) from cross-linguistic and cross-cultural perspectives. The adjective Cross-cultural in the volume title is not just limited to national contexts but also includes a cross-disciplinary perspective.
